JULY 18, 2001
-Happy 20th birthday Tarik Robinson aka TK the endless entity!

-Last night COT and a group of close friends said goodbye to Nathan Lenet aka NDIT for six months to one year as he left the Calgary International Airport for Cape Dorset, Nunavut. The night before a large gathering took place at Angel Guerra's house to honor him and bless him as he embarks on a life changing experience.

-With NDIT's departure, the Crown of Thorns Crew is on hold. Look out for future developments involving TK, Belo and NDIT coming to you from this site as I will still try and update it often. Solo efforts, compilations, shows, Complex Souls (TK , Belo, Disoriental) coming to you from Crownofthorns.8k.com!

-Big ups to Sarah "Rah Rah" Ferguson for being so fresh.

-GUESS WHAT??? I added the song story and lyrics for "Ignor The Rant", also the guest page for Israel...its my goal to have every page up and running on the site soon. Incompletion sucks. N-DIT...you there? Type out the lyrics fo Fall of a King and Power, sucka. 

-COT will be back on air this Friday between 10PM and 12AM on CJSW FM 90.9 in Calgary on DJ Cosm's show "Mental Illness"

-Nathan, Tarik and the RISE team arrived back from our San Francisco missions trip on the 8th. It was a wonderful trip where we really got to see the Lord move through the team and do a work on us. Thanks for all of your prayers!

-NDITwill be making a guest appearance with the punk group Knockaholics performance today at 6:30 PM at the Soul Tattoo.

-Congratulations to Cam "Lingo" Kearns, the winner of the message board free CD contest!

-In about three weeks, TK, NDIT and Bishop will be going to San Francisco for a missions trip. Pray for this journey! We'll be rockin' mics and loving on the people there in he Tenderloin district

-NDIT will be embarking on a 6 month (or more) journey to Nunavut (near the North Pole) to work and gain some life experience. Pray for him.

-Ha, Ha!!! And y'all thought it would never happen! Here's an UPDATE!!!

-Belo and TK now have their own websites! Check out belo1.moonfruit.com and terakoza.moonfruit.com!

-A month or so ago, TK and Bishop rocked a small crowd at a Red Deer Youth Centre! (Hey, that still counts as news!)

-In a little over one month, TK, NDIT and Bishop will be rockin some grooves in San Francisco on a missions trip with the RISE team! We hope to hook up with Jendor the Praying Mantis while down there.

-THANK YOU to all who came out support the group during last night's show, it is VERY encouraging and GREATLY appreciated! Without support visions can die, so thank you for showing us love. Lostar, Dreado and The Black One were able to get loose on the mic, perhaps our best performance to date. Props to Bishop & crew, Shane Love, Eturnl and Left Foot Forward as well as all our friends who came out!

-The Aqua Viva rave this Saturday March 31st at the Soul Tattoo has been cancelled so the crew won't be performing.

-A benefit concert featuring COT is coming up at Rocky Mountain Bible College in mid-April...more details to come!

-It's the end of semester crunch time for all three members!

-Tarik is working on a song with Bishop for his upcoming album and planning a new project with Infinite P of Endangered Species.

-Belo, TK and Bishop rocked a dope freestyle track on fear at today's Livewire Youth service! Everybody loved the track. It was quite interesting, a quick-tempo latino horn beat set the pace for our crazy antics. Ended it with beatboxin' and rhymin'.

-Belo got to chill with Oldominon this past week in Whistler, BC while on a ski trip. He even got to chill with Smoke of 3NP fame! Pics coming soon of Belo and the massive Seattle-based underground hip-hop legends!

-Oops! I accidentally deleted the recent news while updating the site...apologies. 

-Uh, let's see we were on CJSW on Friday Feb. 9....props to Cosm. Did a live track, were interviewed, played Brainwash Projects, LAS, Talib Kweli and Future Shock on air.....We did the Bamboo show on Tuesday Feb. 13, props to all who came (big ups to RMC and JCC). We overcame a couple potential show wreckers and rocked it.

-Banners have been removed due to a controversial one that was being shown...it costs $5.95 US a month to do that...support  the crew by buying a CD!
